Three reasons why we’re excited about ESOMAR Congress 2019

Every year I look forward to September. Not because I want summer to end, but because it’s when ESOMAR Congress – one of my favourite insights events of the year – takes place.

It’s now just two weeks away, and there are three reasons why I’m excited about attending:

 1 / Congress is a hub for transformative new ideas

It’s a full-on three days and this year’s programme is packed with thought-provoking talks and workshops that will challenge and expand my ways of thinking.

 2 / I will be on stage. Twice!

As much as I love watching other’s present, nothing beats the excitement of being onstage yourself. As a UK ESOMAR Rep, I – alongside my counterparts Alex and Crispin – will welcome you first thing on Monday (9 September). And I will also co-host an interactive Agile research session at 10.45am on Tuesday (10 September; Black Box stage).

 3 / Edinburgh is “fairy like…a thing to dream of, or to see in a picture.”

I agree with King Albert. Edinburgh is a fantastic city, full of magic and charm. I can’t wait to wander its beautiful streets again; to catch up with old friends and make new ones; and to celebrate the 72nd ESOMAR Congress at the National Museum on the Tuesday evening.
